DiaLeb awareness session at AUCE - Badaro

DiaLeb kicked off its "University Lecture Series", a part of its Diabetes in the Classroom awareness program, with a presentation at the American University of Culture and Education (AUCE), Badaro branch. The event took place between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Mirey Karavetian, MsC, AUB presented on what diabetes is, the different types, how it is diagnosed, and how it is managed and treated. Mrs. Karavetian also advised students on good nutrition practices that can help prevent the onset of Type 2 diabetes, and provided the students with key steps to begin leading a healthier lifestyle. Free glucose testing was provided to all students by Sanofi.This event was closed for AUCE students, professors and staff only.
